About our Company The Metal-Art Precious Metal Industrial Joint Stock Company as the legal successor of the State Mint is working in its current premises since 1922. Over and above the production of the classical metal coins there was a production of pure gold and pure silver between the two World Wars as well as the production of army medals, mostly from the scraps containing precious metal. Our current product range took shape at the time of the nationalisation after the second world war. The gold and silver jewellery, the silver ornaments and goldsmith’s works enhanced the Hungarian master’s reputation in many countries. Nowadays, apart from the jewellery creation, 60-70% of activities revolve around industrial activity: - retrieve precious metal out of scrap metal, - production of noble metal metallurgical and chemical half-ready products, - surface handling, galvanization, - and retrieve dangerous acid-alkaline and cyanic industrial scrap processed and innocuous. Its function is; typical background supplier service industry that supplies the noble metal included half ready products to the other industries (electrical industry, electronics, engineering industry, electro technical industry, metal ware industry etc.). Besides it does the surface handling, metal plating, and galvanization for other partners, and processes their dangerous scrap material striving for the maximal regaining techniques. Our company has one of the most equipped, mainly specialised to noble metal galvanization plant with the highest capacity. The production and service is regulated by the quality and environmental control system based on the MSZ EN ISO 9001:2001 and MSZ EN ISO 14001:1997; the examining laboratory is accredited based on the MSZ EN ISO/IEC 17025:2001. (NAT-1-1250/2004) The METAL-ART Precious Metal Industrial Joint Stock Company undertakes to install a quality and environmental control system regarding the Precious metal metallurgy-, Galvanization-, Metal ware and Neutralization plants. The aim of the installation of the two systems at the same time is to increase the quality and reliability of the products and services and secondary to increase the nature caring behaviour and via this to be part of the environmental improvements. This Quality and Environmental Control Manual put the METAL-ART Precious Metal Industrial Joint Stock Company Quality and Environmental Control system based on the MSZ EN ISO 9001:2001 and MSZ EN ISO 14001:1997 standards.
